Happy New Year!

As I reflect on my personal growth over the last several years, I credit many of my positive

experiences to the practice of yoga. What started as an exercise program to relieve back pain

evolved into my being a dedicated and lifetime student of this time-honored and traditional

philosophy of living authentically.


Opening Prasada Yoga Studio has been a dream come true. I quickly realized the studio

would be the avenue in which I could share and extend the same teachings that supported me.

It is my hope that everyone may be touched by yoga and its healing qualities.


As we move into the New Year, it is my goal to extend yoga's many benefits to EVERYONE!

Yoga is an INCLUSIVE practice! It is said by the masters, that “Yoga is accessible to everyone,

regardless of age, or infirmity.” With this in mind, ALL of the classes offered are from the tradition

of Hatha Yoga and designed to be “multi-level”. ALL classes are accessible for first-time

beginners to advanced students. Asanas (postures) are instructed from the ground up. Our

teachers are adept at offering modifications and the use of supportive props to enhance and

maintain safety for ALL students. People of ALL abilities are encouraged and welcome to attend classes offered at Prasada Yoga Studio. The only requirement to take a class is the willingness to be present with an open mind!


It has been six months since the first class and I am grateful beyond words for the support of

those who have attended classes and workshops. As we continue to grow, PLEASE help me

spread the word and expand the diversity of our yoga community! Share your own stories of
